The authors do an excellent job taking on these seven myths about our economy with facts, statistics and historic stories. After reading this book you will see more clearly how many of our various financial issues over the years have been caused by government.
I would pay particular attention to chapters three and four which deal with the Great Depression and the impact of trade and tariffs on manufacturing. Your view of tariffs will likely change. The chapter on the 2008 Financial Crisis will take you inside all the bad decision making done by various government agencies that created the crisis.
The book is only 200 pages but is jam packed with practical lessons about our economy. This is the best book I have read on economics in a long time.
