Philanthropy
Joe believes helping others is one of the most rewarding things you can do in your career—and life.
Together, Joe and his wife Dorothy Scarlett are strong believers in the power of education to transform lives, and they put this belief into action by establishing the Scarlett Family Foundation in 2005 to provide merit and need-based college scholarships to Middle Tennessee students.
Today Joe is engaged in teaching and writing about philanthropy, working in the family foundation and striving to improve Tennessee.
